Price And Payment Options

We accept Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro*, MasterCard and Solo.

thedresscode uses two independent companies to process all the payments and the company does NOT have access to the card payment information of its customers. The details of the card used to make the payment are processed directly by Sagepay.com a secure online gateway which encripts the information in a secure host environment and it acts as an intermediary between our website and Merchant Service who process the payment of the transaction.

Sagepay.com confirms to thedresscode.co.uk that the card details are authentic and that the card information provided by the customer during the payment process is genuine. Assuming that sagepay and Merchant Service are satisfied with the payment details provided the card will be charged with the amount of the invoice.

thedresscode.co.uk reserves the right to check the authenticity of the purchaser and card details should they wish to confirm that the purchaser and card details provided are genuine.

Your credit card will be charged when you place the order. We will email you to confirm dispatch.

The total cost of the order is the price of the products ordered plus the delivery charge.

Further information for overseas customers.

The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer's credit or debit card company. Customers outside the United Kingdom will also be liable for any import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. You are advised to check the latest applicable local requirements before placing an order.

*We are unable to accept international Maestro cards.

Quotes for overseas delivery charges are available on request.  Please email our customer service team at
customerservice@thedresscode.co.uk

Credit Card Validation

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the check-out stage.

Returns

A security seal is attached to all our garments.  Please try on the garment prior to removing this seal as, once this seal is removed, refunds can only be given in accordance with your statutory rights.

We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in its original condition and with the security seal intact within 14 days of receipt. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment and will be subject to the deduction of carriage charges.

If a delivery is returned to thedresscode, as a result of the customer providing incorrect delivery details, being absent or customer negligence we will attempt to contact the customer by email or telephone. In order to resend the delivery thedresscode will recharge the full carriage cost to the customer.

Returns By Post (ALL COUNTRIES)

Any goods purchased can be returned within fourteen days of delivery. The customer must notify thedresscode within 7 working days of receipt from the day after delivery of the merchandise, that they want to return goods and request a Returns Authorisation Code [RAC]. This can be obtained by sending an email to: returns@thedresscode.co.uk

Please give us the following details:

  • The invoice number
  • The product being returned
  • The reason for returning the product
  • Do you require an exchange or a refund?

Goods must be returned within seven working days of the Returns Authorisation Code being issued otherwise the Returns Authorisation Code will be cancelled.

Please complete the RAC as required and return your product to us with a copy of the RAC – the item must be unused and in its original box with the security seal on the garment intact. We recommend that you send returned goods by recorded delivery as thedresscode cannot be responsible for items lost in the post.

Returns by post cannot be accepted without a valid Returns Authorisation Code. You will be unable to get a Returns Authorisation Code from the website if more than 14 days has passed since you received the items.

Refunding The Delivery Charge (All Countries)

If a mistake has been made on an item sent to you or the item is faulty, damaged, of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose, we will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive that item unless it was sent to you with other items which you are not returning.

Statutory Rights

Your UK statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.
